This week I commented on an article from Garance that talked « Beanie » and she actually had a lot of interrogations on the subject.
As you already know, those cuties are my thing ; so I decided to show you the way I like them … But most of all, the way I like to wear them !
There are all kinds of Beanies :
Large … VERYYY large-tight-chunky knitted-small-colorful-dark-funny-girly-menly-just to name a few …
But the real thing is :
Feel free to wear it as you want !
Depending on your mood, the weather, the condition of your hair, your hairstyle, trends …
You see, it is VER-SA-TILE!
So how is mine … ?
HUGE, loosen, very often chuncky and mostly cosy … Just enough for this « I just put that on my head without really thinking about it » style that we look for so much lately or simply to cool down a more dramatic look .
As I became the Master in the Beanie kingdom, I thought « why not give you some piece of advice » sooo stay FOCUSED !
- ALWAYS avoid acrylic if you don’t want your forehead to hitch
- In the men’s department you will search for perfection if (like me) you love yours way bigger than the size of your head
- Vintage shopping you’ll go before going to Zara for example, this way you’ll get great and super classy and always trendy ones
- Never customised you will buy it, YOU WILL CUSTOMISE IT if needed (or desired)as it is super simple to do so (I’ll teach you soon but USSHHH)
- If you know how to knit, you’ll ALWAYS prefer to make yourself one instead of buying it (do I need to mention why ?)
Now you know : the Beanie is terribly effortless, needed, very Parisian basically …
Et toi comment tu l’aime ?
What about you, how do you like yours ?
Ordinairement votre,
Mand .
